2010 Harvest for Kids Website is Launched!
Welcome to World Harvest for Kids 2010!
On August 5th, 2006, the rural community surrounding Winkler, Manitoba proudly displayed their spirit of unity. In their collective efforts and love for providing aid to the world, a wheat field became common ground. Manitobans are noted for their generosity and the world of agriculture is no exception.
The World Harvest for Kids of August 2006 shook the earth with 100 combines in an unforgettable record-breaking harvest. The thunder of machines was also the Sound of Hope for children around the world through the help of Children’s Camps International (CCI).
On August 7th, 2010, the attention of the global community will be on us as we set a new world record harvesting approximately 240 acres with over 200 combines. An adjudicator from Guinness World RecordsTM will be in attendance for the event to oversee the record of: The most combines working simultaneously on one field.
